Black Swan (Cygnus atratus)

Interesting :

The male has grayish black feathers covering the body except the long wing hair using only for flying will be white and it distinctively contrasts with the body color. The eyes are dark red. The spur is red but has white stripes. The mouth edge, leg, and feet are black. The Black Swan’s female is the same as the male but it has a smaller size and a little shorter neck.

Habitat :

Has a habitat in the Tasmania Island, and Australia. Wetlands (inland), Marine Coastal/Supratidal

Food :

The Black Swan eats aquatic plant, shrimp feti, and the fish feti.

Behavior :

Lives in the wide water source both freshwater and seawater, lake, river, and swamp. It stays in a small group. The voice is the same as trump. It normally cries in the evening or in the moonlight during the moonlit night while flying.The Black Swan lays 5 to 6 eggs each time. The egg is greenish white. The incubation period is 34 to 37 days.
