Pied Imperial-pigeon (Ducula bicolor)

Interesting :

The Pied Imperial Pigeon is in the same family as the pigeon. The male and female have the same characteristics. The shape is the same as the pigeon. Feathers on the head and the body are white. The wing tip and the tail hair are black.

Habitat :

Has the habitat in Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Islands in Indian Ocean. For Thailand, it can be found in the island on the east coast and the south of Andaman coast.

Food :

The food is fruit and plant seed.

Behavior :

Lives in the mangrove swamp forest and the islands in the middle of the sea. It seeks for the food as a troop of approximately 15 to 30, except in the breeding season, it will stay in pairs. It is the bird that is very good at flying and can fly quickly.
