Common Emu (Dromaius novaehollandiae)

Interesting :

is the large size bird with the height of 5 to 6 feet and the weight of 150 pounds. the feathers of Emu look like the hair which is different from that of the general fowl. the Emu does not have the bone on its head and the feathers on the whole body are brown. both male and female have the same characteristics but the male has the bigger size.

Habitat :

can be found in Australia except near the seashore. Savanna, Shrubland, Grassland

the food is fruit,and insect

Behavior :

the Emu can run very fast and can run a the speed of 30 miles per hour.
